Vishal Dadlani, an ace vocalist and music composer, is ecstatic to have been chosen to represent India in a tribute tune honouring Metallica’s Black Album’s 30th anniversary. He’ll perform an Indian version of the popular song “Unforgiven” with rapper DIVINE and pop band Shor Police. The trio will band together to commemorate Metallica’s Black Album’s 30th anniversary in India. Vishal will share the stage alongside international singers such as Miley Cyrus and Elton John, and he credits Metallica with instilling in him the value of heavy metals, which he incorporates into his songs. He discussed how Metallica’s legendary Black Album became a worldwide phenomenon for a large number of people.
Metallica was formed in 1981 by ace musicians James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo, who used the cacophony of heavy metal to communicate social issues that were present at the time, causing a mutiny in the heavy metal genre. Vishal went on to say that while metallic sounds aren’t prominent in his music, they have had a significant influence on him. He’ll be belting out the Indian version of ‘The Unforgiven,’ which is featured on The Metallica Blacklist alongside DIVINE and Shor Police. The tribute album will have 50 well-known singers from around the world performing their own versions of the song while paying honour to the record. The transaction was completed.
