ભારતના ચૂંટણી પંચ દ્વારા મતદારયાદી ખાસ સંક્ષિપ્ત કાર્યક્રમનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. જેમાં નામ દાખલ કરવા, કમી કરવા તથા સુધારા-વધારા કરવા માટેના ઝુંબેશ કાર્યક્રમો યોજાશે.

ભારતના ચૂંટણીપંચ દ્વારા તા. ૧ જાન્યુઆરી,૨૦૨૨ ની લાયકાતની તારીખના સંદર્ભમાં મતદારયાદી ખાસ સંક્ષિપ્ત કાર્યક્રમ-૨૦૨૨ જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. ચૂંટણીપંચ દ્વારા જાહેર કરાયેલ કાર્યક્રમમાં મતદારયાદીના મુસદાની પ્રસિધ્ધિની તા. ૧ નવેમ્બર,૨૦૨૧ને સોમવારથી હકક-દાવા અને વાંધા અરજીઓ સ્વીકારવાનો સમયગાળો તા. ૩૦ નવેમ્બર,૨૦૨૧ સુધીમાં તેમજ ખાસ ઝુંબેશની તા. ૧૪ નવેમ્બર, ૨૧ નવેમ્બર, ૨૭ નવેમ્બર અને ૨૮ નવેમ્બર સુધીના દિવસોમાં યોજાશે.

જેમાં હકક-દાવા અને વાંધા અરજીઓના નિકાલ તા. ૨૦ ડિસેમ્બર,૨૦૨૧ સુધીમાં અને મતદારયાદીની આખરી પ્રસિધ્ધિની તા. ૫ જાન્યુઆરી,૨૦૨૨ ને રોજ કરવામાં આવશે.

પાટણ જિલ્લા જિલ્લા ચૂંટણી અધિકારી વ કલેકટરશ્રી દ્વારા આ ઝુંબેશમાં ભાગ લઈ ભારતની લોકશાહીને મજબૂત કરવામાં યોગદાન આપવા માટે સૌ નાગરિકોને અપીલ કરી છે.

Process of Voter ID Card Correction Online in Gujarat

• Go to the website of Chief Electoral Officer of Gujarat. In home page, select “Online Voter Registration”.
• Log in using your credentials. If you are using this feature for this first time, register using your name, address, email id and phone number.
• In the resulting page, select “From 8 for Voter Detail Modification”. You will have to enter your Voter ID card number to proceed. If you are not sure about your Voter ID card number, you can use the search option to find out your Voter ID Card number.
• Form 8 which is designed by the election commission of India for changing the details about a voter will be displayed on the screen. You will have to enter information like your name, date of birth, address and other details about your family members whose name have been included in the electoral roll.
• Specify the information that you wish to change and also attach the supporting documents. For example, if you wish to change the photograph, attach your photo and also a photo identity proof.
• Once you submit the form, you will receive a PDF. You will have to take a printout of the PDF and send it through post to the nearest Election Commission Office.
• Your application for changing the details in the Voter ID card will be reviewed and the new card will be sent via post to your address.
